An analysis of the international organization of tourism and the facilitation procedures required for a successful implementation of the tourism activity are highlighted.

Comprehensive study of strategies and advanced techniques used in marketing tourism destinations and products. Marketing plan developed. Prerequisite: HFT 3503.

International perspective on the subject, range of case studies of good practices, design to understand key sustainable tourism development issues.

Environmental Management Systems (EMS)
Analysis of global environmental problems concerning tourism development worldwide, development of EMS utilizing indicators with practical applications in a variety of projects at local, regional, national and international levels.
Biography
As an International Tourism Consultant and Academician, Nancy Del Risco has worked for many international organizations, governments and enterprises providing technical assistance and education in tourism planning, marketing and sustainable tourism issues.
Nancy has a broad experience in the tourism marketing and promotion arena. For many years she acted as Director of the Peruvian Tourist Office in Paris, France.
In the field of education her experience abroad includes: Academic Director of the Tourism Masters Program at the University of Las Palmas, Spain as well as Director of other International Tourism Programs in Universities in Mexico and Peru. She vibrantly brings her vast international experience and her comprehensive knowledge of tourism to her classroom.
