Hospitality Industry Law
A basic study of hotel, motel, and restaurant law emphasizing risk management, security, food and liquor service liability, employment law, civil rights and discrimination law, federal and state, and how they apply to public accommodations and employment. The student is introduced to the fundamental laws, rules and regulations applicable to the hospitality industry. A case study approach is used in conjunction with lectures that encourage student participation in class debate in order to develop an awareness and understanding of the legal challenges and problems confronting the managers and executives in policy and decision making and develop and implement reasonable procedures to deal with them.

Travel Industry Law

Legal Strategies, tactics, and principles for the multi-faceted travel industry. Covers applicable statutes, regulations, cases and international agreements.

Biography

Professor Dai Hui acquired her BA in English from Tianjin Foreign Languages University. After finished her LLM in international law at Nankai University Law School, she pursued her second master degree in hospitality Management at Florida International University School of Hospitality and Tourism Management

Professor Dai have passed National Judicial Exam and is awarded the legal occupational qualification by Ministry of Justice, the People’s Republic of China. Many years’ work experience in legal field has equipped her with rich legal skill and abundant legal knowledge. Her diverse legal background includes working in Tianjin Municipal Government Legal Affair Office, finishing her internship in S&S law firm. In addition, she also acquired several years’ legal consultant and risk management experience for HASL---a largest joint venture life insurance company in China.
