Executive Master of Science in Hospitality Management - Distance Program

Admissions standards for the Master of Science degrees in Hospitality Management and Tourism Studies are an earned bachelor’s degree with a 3.0 grade point average (GPA) on a 4.0 scale. A minimum TOEFL score of 550 written or 80 internet-based (iBT) or an IELTS score of at least 6.5 Overall is required for international applicants or applicants with foreign academic credentials.
An applicant who feels the earned GPA is not indicative of his or her ability to be successful in a graduate degree program may also submit scores on the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) or Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) which will be taken into consideration by the admissions committee in its evaluation of the application.
Management or Faculty Experience
Minimum of five years hospitality related management or faculty teaching experience in a college or university hospitality program is required for acceptance into this track.
