Venison Restaurateur of the Year Award

UPDATE: Anthony Mandriota recieved the Deer Industry New Zealand Cervena Venison Restaurateur of the Year Award for 2007
Amount of award
The Award will be a cash grant of $2,500. All applicants must submit the following documents as part of the application process:
- Autobiographical account with reference to career goals and explanation of why the award would be helpful in achieving these goals.
- Include in the narrative the answers to the following questions:
- An appraisal of what will be the dominant trends in fine dining restaurants in the next five years
- Where will red meat fit into the menu for fine dining restaurants, in the next five years?
- Letters of recommendation from two present or former FIU faculty members.
- Current resume.
Selection procedure
The student will be selected by the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management Scholarship Committee. The Scholarship Committee will review the applications of the three finalists with Cervena Venison, and describe why the award winner was selected.
The Cervena Venison Restaurateur of the Year Award will be presented in March 2007 by Chef Graham Brown , Executive Chef for Cervena Venison from Christchurch , New Zealand . The announcement of the winner may occur prior to the award ceremony.
