The School of Hospitality and Tourism Management will continue to maintain its position as one of the leading hospitality/tourism management programs in the world. This will be accomplished by maintaining a state of the art facilities in Miami, Florida and Tianjin, China as well as actively seeking other global partnerships to deliver educational programs in Europe and Asia. In addition to traditional degree programs, the School will develop and deliver continuing education programs to enhance the professional education of industry practitioners through its various institutes. The faculty will maintain their involvement in the industry through active research programs as well as regular involvement with industry firms and organizations. The leadership of the School will continuously search for opportunities to enhance the reputation of the School as the leading provider of educational opportunities to the industry.

In ten years the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management will be delivering educational programs throughout the world in China, Europe, South America and Africa. There will be partnership agreements with leading universities that offer both on site and electronic delivery systems. It is anticipated that we will maintain a faculty base of 30 in Miami and an additional 30 in Tianjin with a student enrollment of 1000 in Miami and 2000 in Tianjin.
