The Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival presented by Capital One (SOBEWFF®) is widely recognized as America’s most prestigious gourmet gathering showcasing the talents of the world renowned chefs, culinary personalities and wine and spirit producers. FIU is the only university whose students help plan and execute this prestigious national event and the Chaplin School is the only hospitality program in the country that benefits from the Festival.

Each year more than 1,500 students get real-world hands on experience during the four-day destination event. To date, the Festival has raised more than $37 million in support of its mission to EAT. DRINK. EDUCATE. with the Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management at Florida International University.
