Unforgettable classroom experiences
At the Chaplin School, students take part in unforgettable classes that teach real-world skills—like “The David Grutman Experience.” This exclusive course gave students a behind-the-scenes look at some of the world’s most famous nightclubs, led by local hospitality legend David Grutman.
Between field trips, the experience featured surprise cameos from celebrity industry leaders like Jason Momoa, Bad Bunny, Kendall Jenner, and Drake.
Learn at The World's Most Exclusive Events
Students at the Chaplin School have real opportunities to grow outside the classroom. In 2023, one of our students earned the chance to travel to New York and work at the Lavazza Café during the U.S. Open—gaining hands-on experience at one of the most high-profile events in the world.
Study With The Stars of The Food Network at SOBEWFF(R)
The Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival is one of the top food events in the country, bringing together famous chefs and culinary stars. Each year, over 1,500 FIU students help run the event, gaining real-world experience in planning, hospitality, and teamwork—all while supporting their school and learning from the best in the industry.
