Henry Brimo is a Florida-based wine professional, with a wide-reaching background that covers many facets of the wine industry. Henry currently serves as a Wine Category Manager for Southeastern Grocers. He also serves as a Wine Educator for the Florida Wine Academy presenting WSET courses as well as a Wine Judge for different competitions. He previously was the lead Sommelier & Wine Buyer for Abaco Wines & Wine Bar, a luxury wine shop located in the Miami Design District.
Why do you want to serve on the FIU Chaplin School Alumni Network?
I would like to serve on the alumni network to give back to my alma mater, who played such a critical role in my personal, academic, and professional development. I want to positively contribute towards the FIU Chaplin School Alumni Network’s vision and ensure that future generations of students are presented the same, if not better, opportunities than I received. I love my university and I love to stay involved whether it's being a football season ticket holder, attending a Greek alumni event or homecoming, and this opportunity feels like a positive next step.
