Jared Smith, MBA

Bio

Jared’s goal is to enable leaders and teams to develop and achieve breakthrough performance.   He is a partner with People2Strategy and provides human capital consulting services involving leadership development, team engagement and customer experience.  Through his passion, professionalism, and innovation he helps clients reach their goals.  He works with clients in a variety of industries and across business functions.

He has worked as a leader with both Accenture Consulting and Willis Towers Watson.  He has over 20 years of experience in leadership and organizational development, strategic planning, change management, process improvement, customer experience, employee engagement, training and project management with numerous Fortune 1000 companies. 

As an Adjunct Professor at Florida International University’s School of Hospitality Management, a Leadership Coach for the Executive MBA program and a lecturer with the Office of Executive Education, Jared is responsible for leadership development, designing and facilitating strategic planning, and related programs.  He co-developed and has been a lead facilitator for the FIU High Performance Leadership Program for more than 18 years.

Jared is a US Army Desert Storm combat veteran, and his structure and discipline are strengthened by serving in leadership and training facilitation roles.  His efforts resulted in various awards, citations and he graduated in the top 5% of the Primary Leadership Development School.

He graduated from the University of South Carolina (USC) with a BA in Psychology and an International MBA (MIBS) from USC and the Vienna University of Economics and Business, Austria.
