Bio
Giselle Romero is pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management and is expected to graduate in 2027. Throughout her time at FIU, she has been actively involved in student leadership, hospitality education, and industry engagement, building meaningful connections between students and hospitality professionals. Giselle enjoys bringing students together through educational and networking opportunities. As the Communications Intern for the Bacardi Center of Excellence, she helps manage a team of student leaders, coordinates experiences such as Bacardi Brand Home visits and masterclasses, and oversees the organization's LinkedIn presence to highlight student achievements and upcoming events. She has been part of the South Beach Wine & Food Festival, where she gained hands-on experience supporting large-scale hospitality events, and serves as a Teaching Assistant within FIU's Chaplin School, where she enjoys mentoring students and contributing to their learning experience. Passionate about creating memorable guest experiences and connecting people through hospitality, Giselle looks forward to growing her expertise in hospitality while making a lasting impact on the FIU hospitality community. She is committed to continuous learning, professional development, and giving back to the FIU hospitality community by helping create opportunities that inspire and prepare future hospitality leaders.
