Bio
Isabella Perez is a recent graduate of FIU's Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management, where she earned her Master of Science in Hospitality Management. Throughout her academic journey, she developed a passion for hospitality education, experiential learning, and creating meaningful opportunities that connect students with the hospitality industry.
During her time at FIU, Isabella worked closely with faculty, students, and industry partners through the Bacardi Center of Excellence to support educational programming, beverage-focused initiatives, and experiential learning opportunities. Her work included developing and leading SpeedPour, a first of its kind student cocktail competition, contributing to the development of a ready-to-drink (RTD) beverage concept, strengthening industry partnerships and engagement, and created pathways that connected students with hospitality leaders for mentorship and hands-on learning. These experiences reinforced her belief that meaningful education extends beyond the classroom and is strengthened through collaboration and real-world application.
As part of her continued commitment to hospitality education, Isabella will bring her experiences in experiential learning, industry collaboration, and student development into the classroom at FIU. Through teaching and mentorship, she hopes to create engaging learning environments that inspire curiosity, encourage collaboration, and prepare future hospitality professionals for successful careers.
