Bio

Ed Miranda '94 is currently serving as CEO of Elisium—a future-focused, cognitive, sports and active lifestyle, luxury resort & club community being planned for development on 3262 acres of land in South Florida.  He also serves as President of Luxury Development Consultants, Inc, and for the past 30 years has been involved in every aspect of the acquisition and development process—from due diligence and financial feasibility studies of proposed property acquisitions and development projects, to assembling and coordinating teams of design consultants, securing entitlements and permits from government agencies, and managing construction contractors to build high-quality assets for the owners he has represented including The Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach, Huizenga Holdings / Boca Resorts, Inc., Blackstone / LXR, OTO Development, and many others in the hotel and resort development business.

Ed is a Miami native and grew up involved in his family's construction company. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial & Systems Engineering from The University of Florida (92), and a Master of Science in Hospitality Management from Florida International University (94) where he has also taught graduate level courses for financial feasibility analysis of hotel development projects.
