Joan Bertran

Bio

Joan Bertran joined Banco Sabadell in 2008 to manage the group’s real estate portfolio ($15bn). Since then, he served in different executive positions managing teams in Europe and America for Sabadell, and under his supervision the Bank has underwritten CRE & Hotel transactions for more than $10bn. Joan currently holds the position of Head of Corporate Advisory.

Prior to joining Banco Sabadell Joan served as Business Manager at LCL, a JV between Banco Sabadell and a RE developer, where he directly invested and developed more than 2.3 million sqf of CRE in Europe. He started his professional career in 1999 as Construction Manager at Ferrovial.

Born in Barcelona, Joan graduated from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya with a BSc ad MSc degree in Civil Engineering, holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from ESADE, and completed the Stanford Executive Program at Stanford Graduate School of Business in Palo Alto, California.
