Bio
John Lancet is the Senior Managing Director of HVS’ Miami office and the firm’s Practice Leader for the Southeastern United States and the Caribbean. Over the past 29 years that John has been with HVS, he has appraised and/or consulted on more than 1,500 hotels, resorts, and shared ownership developments. He’s served as an expert witness on various occasions and also was a contributing author to the Urban Land Institute’s Resort Development handbook 2nd Edition. Prior to joining HVS, John obtained his operating experience from several hotels located in South Florida. A graduate of FIU’s School of Hospitality Management, John is a certified general real estate appraiser in Florida (RZ #2554) and a MAI Designated Member of the Appraisal Institute.
