Michael L. Rock

Bio

Rock has 39+ years of hospitality industry experience. In his current role, he oversees all aspects of asset performance the world’s largest lodging REIT at Host Hotels with a Portfolio of 77 hotels and 42,000+ rooms. Prior to Joining Host over 11 years ago, Rock had 27+ years with Marriott International holding 16 different positions at both Domestic and International properties including GM positions with Ritz-Carlton, JW Marriott, and EDITION brands as well as running Marriott’s largest Casino. He holds a B.S. Hotel and Restaurant Management from the University of Missouri where he Graduated Magna Cum Laude with Honors and is an active member of their Hospitality advisory Board. Rock is also active member on the AHLA Food and Beverage advisory committee and also serves on several other boards in Miami, Maui, and Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
