Carlos Duart and Tina Vidal-Duart are FIU alumni and experienced business leaders, providing executive oversight across CDR Enterprises Inc. and its subsidiaries, including operations in engineering, healthcare, disaster response, and project finance across 17 states.
Carlos Duart '94, MA '99 is the founder and CEO of CDR Enterprises Inc. His experience includes public-private partnerships, alternative project delivery, financial modeling, and the procurement and supervision of international transportation projects funded by the World Bank and Inter-American Development Bank. Duart holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a master’s degree in Taxation from FIU and is a member of FIU’s Business School Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame. He has received FIU’s Outstanding Alumnus Medallion and Torch Award and previously served on the FIU Foundation Board of Directors.
Tina Vidal-Duart '02, MBA '04 is an industry expert in healthcare management, corporate restructuring, and mergers and acquisitions. She currently serves as CEO of CDR Health Care Inc. and Executive Vice President of CDR Companies Inc., providing operational oversight to the firm’s engineering, emergency management, and disaster health and medical consulting divisions. Additionally, Vidal-Duart helped found and manage ML Management Group, a sports agency that manages UFC and mixed martial arts fighters. She has a Master’s in International Business and a Bachelor of International Business and Marketing from FIU.
In 2023, their support established the Vidal-Duart Wine Studies Program at FIU’s Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management, offering state-of-the-art facilities and experiential wine education to prepare students for global hospitality careers.
